Weligama surf conditions this week — good for beginners or too big?

It's been a bit bigger and more challenging this week than ideal for complete beginners. Some surf schools are still taking new students but on the smaller inside waves or at slightly different spots. Worth checking with your school directly — they'll know the current conditions and whether it's suitable for your level. Some people are doing theory or beach practice days and waiting for better conditions. It changes quickly though, so tomorrow could be calmer. Your instructor will give you the best advice based on what they're seeing that day.
