I want to try traditional street food but my spice tolerance is very low. Is this safe for me.

Kottu Roti is the most famous Sri Lankan street food. It is a loud, chaotic, and delicious dish made by rapidly chopping flatbread, fresh vegetables, eggs, and your choice of meat together on a hot iron griddle using two metal blades.

It is traditionally prepared with a heavy handful of green chilies and spicy curry sauce. If your tolerance is low, you must explicitly ask the vendor to make it without chili or pepper. They are very accustomed to tourists and will happily make a totally mild version for you.
