Block 1 of Yala National Park is universally famous for having the absolute highest density of leopards. It is the core area where all the major wildlife documentaries are filmed, and your chances of spotting one there are significantly higher than anywhere else.

However, because Block 1 is so famous, it suffers from severe jeep congestion. If you want a deeply peaceful, uncrowded safari experience and do not mind slightly lower leopard odds, request to explore Block 5 or the adjacent Lunugamvehera National Park instead.
