I am heading to Arugam Bay for surfing but also want a quiet stay focused on yoga and wellness Are there peaceful retreats away from the party scene

Look into places slightly outside the main A-Bay strip, like Hideaway Resort. They have a beautiful yoga shala and a massive peaceful garden. It is a completely different world from the loud party hostels right on Main Point.

Just avoid any accommodation directly on the beach road if you want to sleep and do early morning yoga. The bass vibrates the walls until 3 AM.

Bay Vista is also incredible for wellness. They offer great yoga classes and serve really healthy, clean food.
