10pm Superline toward Colombo - any seats left from Goods Shed or is that the wrong company
9.32 on Raja Veediya. WhatsApp family says catch the 10pm Superline to Colombo. Maps says Goods Shed. Superline's own site looks like Pettah-Badulla. NextBus had a 9.45 luxury. Do we run for 9.45 with a suitcase or is there actually a 10pm with seats.

Superline.lk's catalogue on this fetch is Pettah-Badulla / Passara / Trinco - not a branded Kandy→Colombo 10pm. Treat "10pm Superline" as the wrong company name. NextBus.lk Kandy→Colombo luxury (EX3/4-602, last updated June 2026) lists a last luxury at 9:45 PM. That is ~13 minutes from a 9.32 Raja Veediya pin if you walk now and the bus still exists tonight. whether that 9.45 ran on 21 Aug, and remaining seats. Do not pay a tout "last seat" cash on the pavement.
Goods Shed / the Kandy bus stands are the honest place to ask a conductor, not a WhatsApp brand. If you miss the last luxury, you wait for whatever is still marked Colombo, or you sleep and go in the morning. Perahera night is a bad night to invent a bus.
We missed a 9.45 last year by taking a photo. The next thing that moved was not Superline-shaped. Hotel.

Drivers wearing official-looking uniforms claim to be "government-approved" and charge 3-5x normal rates. They may have fake badges or ID cards.
Women with babies approach asking you to buy milk powder at a nearby shop (not cash). The shop is run by accomplices and charges 5-10x normal price.
