We are not stacking Tooth then a nap then 6:28. We are not asking if the queue is already a wall if we sleep. We need the minute. FAQ says open 5.30. Partner wants 5:00 so we "beat Perahera Saturday." I think 5:00 is standing in the dark looking at a closed door. Which alarm do I actually set.

Published open is 5.30 AM. Early-morning theva is 5.30-7.00. 5:00 is not a published door. A festival Saturday can mean people already in a line before 5.30 - I cannot swear how early that line forms on 22 Aug. Set 5:15 if you want to walk in the dark and see a queue. Do not sit on the shrine steps at 5:02 filming a closed door.

Sunrise Saturday is 6:00. 5:30 is still dark (other thread). Phone torch, shoes you can leave, shoulders covered. Ticket from the machine - 3,000 / 2,500 - not a guy in the dark (other thread).

We arrived 5.22 another festival morning and the door was the door at 5.30. Line was real, not a myth. 5:00 would have been sitting.

Setting 5.15. Not sitting on the steps at 5.02.
