Are the hiking trails in Ella open after the Ditwah floods.
2 Answers from travellers
Yes, all the major hiking trails in Ella, including Little Adams Peak and Ella Rock, are completely open and perfectly safe to hike now. The local authorities and community groups worked incredibly fast to clear the debris and secure the paths immediately after the November floods subsided.
While the trails are open, you will definitely see some lingering evidence of the heavy rains, like small washed out sections on the lower dirt paths. Just wear sturdy hiking boots with good grip, as the terrain can still be slightly uneven in certain shaded spots.

People outside stations offer to "help" buy tickets but charge large markups. They may buy cheap third-class tickets and sell as more expensive classes.
