My Wise card was charged 600 LKR per withdrawal at a Sampath ATM in Negombo plus the daily limit was only 40000 LKR What is the current best combo for digital nomads doing 3 month visa runs Looking for low fees high single withdrawal limits and ideally no dynamic currency conversion trap

NTB and HNB are cheapest at 300 LKR per withdrawal with 100000 LKR max single Sampath and BoC charge 600 LKR especially at airports Always pick Without Conversion (DCC) at the prompt to use Wise own rate not the ATM rate For very large amounts use NTB Cinnamon Gardens branch ATM near Colombo it allows 200000 LKR per day if you change settings inside the branch first

For larger bulk amounts bring crisp USD 100 notes from 2017 series or later and exchange at Sampath FX Pettah they offer rates within 1 percent of interbank Avoid hotels they shave 5 to 7 percent
