Easiest ways to join group activities as a solo traveler without feeling awkward?
I want to do some group things but don't want to feel like the odd one out. Any tips?

Many organized activities (cooking classes, yoga sessions, short excursions, walking tours) are specifically designed for mixed groups including solo travelers. The organizers are used to it and often facilitate introductions. Smaller groups tend to feel more natural than large tours. Activities with a shared focus (learning something, doing something active) make conversation easier than purely social events. Many solo travelers say that once the activity starts, the 'solo' feeling disappears quickly. Choosing well-reviewed operators with good group dynamics helps.
Smaller, well-run activities with good hosts make all the difference. The awkwardness usually fades fast once everyone starts doing the same thing.
