Flash on the empty street now the tusker is in - still a police problem or just rude
Elephants are not here. Street is leftover plastic chairs and husks. Partner wants flash for the dark video problem. DIG was lasers-on-elephants. Is a camera flash on an empty Dalada at 9.36 still a problem or just the tourist everyone hates.

Lasers on elephants were the arrest line. Flash on an empty street is not that gazette. It is still rude in a religious precinct, and it still blinds the people walking home. Use the street lamp. Do not fire a flash at a uniform or a remaining dancer.
If a policeman tells you to stop, stop. Extra Tourist Police are still around. Empty is not a studio.

TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
