I want to take the bus from Colombo to Galle/Matara, but I'm terrified of the "Pettah" main bus stand. I've heard it's chaotic, hot, and full of scammers.

How to get there: It is about 30-40 mins from central Colombo by Uber/PickMe (via the highway). It costs about 2,000 LKR to get there, but it saves you hours of stress.
