How do we actually book official KMC Perahera seats - not a WhatsApp gallery, the municipal ones

Already know the Facebook guy selling Queens windows is a lottery. Someone said Kandy Municipal Council has a real grandstand portal for certain nights. Is that kandy.mc.gov.lk/perahara. Are there seats left for 25-27 or did that die in July. What does the ticket look like so we do not buy a PDF from a cousin.

The municipal grandstand is the one I trust: KMC site, not a "official tickets" .com with a countdown. If the night you want is sold, it is sold - that is your answer, not a reseller. The ticket should name the block/row and look like a council booking, not a Canva flyer. Street and lake are still free if you stand.

Hotel balconies are a different, private market. Still ask for a written seat map. Never Western Union.

Unofficial Temple Guide ScamVerified

Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
