Ahangama is very safe for solo female digital nomads. The local community is welcoming, and there is a huge expat and nomad presence that looks out for each other.

You will feel very comfortable walking around during the day. At night, it is advisable to use a trusted tuk tuk driver or ride a scooter rather than walking alone on unlit side roads.

Joining coliving spaces like NETS or Mellow is a great way to immediately plug into a supportive network of other female travelers and remote workers.
