Is Casuarina Beach in Jaffna safe for non swimmers?

Casuarina Beach is perfect for families because the water remains waist deep for hundreds of meters from the shore. It is very calm with almost no current. There are basic changing facilities and toilets managed by the local council. It can get very busy on weekends with locals, so try visiting on a weekday for a more peaceful experience.
