The Digital Nomad Visa is fully active as of early 2026. The key requirement is a minimum monthly income of two thousand dollars from foreign sources. You can apply through the new online portal. The visa is valid for one year and the fee is five hundred dollars. It has been a huge success in attracting tech workers to hubs in Colombo and the south coast surf towns.
