What are the income requirements for the 2026 Digital Nomad Visa?

To qualify for the one year Digital Nomad Visa, you must prove a minimum monthly income of two thousand dollars routed through banking channels outside Sri Lanka. The application fee is five hundred dollars. This visa allows you to live in Sri Lanka, open personal bank accounts, and enroll children in international schools. The portal for applications has been officially reactivated since early March 2026.
