Bag came around 6. Taxi touts said Kandy Perahera starting now, 3 hours, I take you 45,000. We had zero plan to go to Kandy. 4th Kumbal started 6.40. Is there any universe we see a drum tonight or do we sleep Negombo and aim at Saturday 6.28.

Tonight is already on the street. Even a clean A1 in three hours puts you in Kandy at 10-ish with the loop done and the blocks still up. You will buy a closed city. Sleep west of Colombo or Negombo. Van at 8-9 Saturday for the last Kumbal at 6:28, or Sunday for first Randoli.

Do not pay 45,000 for a Friday-night hero run. That number is a story. A daylight Saturday transfer is the honest product.
