Night snorkeling or bioluminescent experiences done respectfully?
I'd love to experience bioluminescence or night snorkeling. Any responsible options?

Bioluminescence is seasonal and weather-dependent. Some operators in certain lagoons or beaches offer night snorkel trips, but quality and environmental impact vary. The best experiences are low-impact — small groups, no bright lights that disturb marine life, and guides who prioritize the ecosystem over spectacle. It's not something you can reliably plan in advance. Ask locally about current conditions and responsible operators. Some people experience it by chance while swimming at night in the right conditions without any tour.
The most magical experiences are often the unplanned ones in the right conditions. Organized tours can be hit or miss on both the phenomenon and the environmental approach.
