PickMe still has cars at 10.12 - last one Kandy to Colombo tonight or a Kadugannawa trap
9.45 luxury is gone. Superline was the wrong company. Goods Shed looked like a dark shed in the other thread. App is showing cars. Partner wants to pin Colombo and go. Is PickMe even an intercity product at 10.12 or are we about to hire a town three-wheeler onto the A1 with a driver who just stood the 4th.

A car icon at 10.12 is not a published Kandy to Colombo timetable. I cannot swear whether PickMe even offers that as an intercity product tonight. If the app quotes a trip to a Colombo pin, that is a quote for that minute, not a bus. 1,749 killed on the road this year as of yesterday. A driver who stood the loop is a tired driver. If you cannot see a proper car and a licence, sleep. Morning luxury / train is a real board.
Do not start a 100-plus kilometre night drive because the bus you wanted at 9.45 left. Kadugannawa at 23:00 after Perahera is still a pass.
App showed a car, driver called, wanted cash "for Colombo" with no pin. We cancelled. Hotel. 6am was boring and correct.

Driver claims the meter is broken and quotes an inflated flat rate. Common on arrival at airport or railway stations when tourists are tired and disoriented.
Drivers wearing official-looking uniforms claim to be "government-approved" and charge 3-5x normal rates. They may have fake badges or ID cards.
Women with babies approach asking you to buy milk powder at a nearby shop (not cash). The shop is run by accomplices and charges 5-10x normal price.
