President spent this morning on El Niño water trucks - will the hotel actually cut the shower this weekend
Ada Derana an hour-ish ago: President told the El Niño committee to keep essential goods flowing, reservoirs, drinking water, even electricity reserves for next year's Feb-April. We are in the east and the tank behind the hotel looks like a puddle. Do we fill the bucket tonight or is this a 2027 problem they are speeching.

The 21 Aug meeting is planning - water trucks already going to tens of thousands in dry districts, small tanks reported very low in the drought stories this week. A tourist hotel on the east with a pump and a bowser contract is not usually the first thing they cut. A village guesthouse on a well might ask you to shower shorter now. Ask reception tonight, do not wait for a tap click at 11.
East heat + dry is the live combo. Hills are the ones getting today's showers. Different island.
