This side is a PA speaker, the other kerb is live drums - which one is the actual procession

We followed the noise and ended up on a side street where a shop has a speaker blasting Perahera TV audio. Across the junction we can see the real hevisi going by. Partner wants the "better sound." Is the PA a legitimate overflow or did we just leave the procession for a Samsung.

The live hevisi on the road is the Perahera. The PA is a shop or a hotel lobby filling dead air. If you can see the drummers, that kerb is the one. DIG asked people not to treat this as a carnival - a speaker stack on a side street is the carnival version.

Queen's / lake kerb is live. Two streets back is TV. We wasted 15 minutes on the TV street on Wednesday.

Official broadcast is Rupavahini / ITN / the Maligawa live. A shop speaker is not a second procession.
