We are visiting during the summer holidays. How cold does it get in Nuwara Eliya, and should we pack winter clothes.

The weather in Nuwara Eliya in August is cool and occasionally misty. Daytime temperatures hover around 18 to 20 degrees Celsius, but nights can drop to a chilly 10 to 12 degrees. You should definitely pack a warm fleece, long pants, and a light rain jacket for the evenings.
