The Met Department has issued an Amber advisory for severe lightning across 15 districts, including Kandy, Colombo, and the Southern province. Thundershowers are expected to be intense until 11:00 PM tonight. Please stay indoors, avoid open fields, and do not use wired telephones or electrical appliances. The atmospheric conditions are currently very unstable.
