Yes, as part of the Sri Lankan governments recent push to boost tourism, British citizens are currently included in the pilot program offering a completely free tourist visa. You absolutely still need to apply for the ETA through the official online portal before you travel, but the final checkout payment page will show a zero dollar fee.
