We want to go white water rafting on the Kelani River next week. Is there enough water during the dry season for a good experience.

April is actually a great time for rafting. While the water is lower than in the monsoon, the rapids are still very exciting and the river is much clearer. The lower water levels make it safer for beginners and families as the technicality of the rapids like Killer Fall and Head Chopper is more manageable. Always ensure your operator provides international standard life jackets and helmets.
