Can I use a foreign bank statement for the Digital Nomad Visa?

For the 2026 Digital Nomad Visa, you are required to show proof of a monthly income of two thousand dollars from sources outside Sri Lanka. Your home country bank statements are perfectly acceptable for this. You do not need to have a local bank account for the initial application. However, you must provide the last six months of statements to prove stability.
