The beach bars in Ahangama are great, but I heard the real electronic music scene has moved to private villas in the jungle behind Kabalana Beach. How do tourists find out about these.

Just hang out at The Rock surf break at Kabalana around sunset and talk to the expat surfers. News about the underground villa parties spreads entirely by word of mouth in the lineup.
