The food vendors at Galle Face are generally safe as they have high turnover, so the food (like Isso Wade / prawn fritters) is freshly fried. Just avoid any raw salads or water that isn’t bottled. The stray dogs there are very used to crowds and usually just sleep on the grass. Do not pet them, but they will not bother you.
