Infant is four months - Saturday 10am child offering or too wrecked after a Kumbal night
FAQ: children 3-6 months can be offered at 10.00 AM and 7.00 PM, one elder to the inner chamber. Ours is four months. We stood the 4th. 5.30 theva already feels impossible. 10am is after sunrise, after a possible breakfast plate, before 2-5pm rain. Is a Perahera Saturday 10am offering a real window or a crush we should not take a baby into.

Published: every day 10.00 AM and 7.00 PM; child completed 3 months but not more than 6; one elder to the inner chamber. Saturday 10:00 is a real slot on the FAQ. A Perahera Saturday will not be a private chapel - I cannot swear how busy 10:00 is on 22 Aug. 7.00 PM Saturday collides with 6:28 last Kumbal, so 10am is the only sane one if you do it. Screening at the entrance, no polythene, respectful dress. Help video is on the FAQ if you need the mechanics.
If the baby is already wrecked, skip. A blessing is not a deadline. If you go, go inland to the gate, not via leftover Dalada cones with a stroller at 09:40.
We did 10am on a festival Saturday. Slow, devout, worth it, not a selfie line. Shoes off, one adult.
