Is Casuarina Beach in Jaffna suitable for a family swim?

Casuarina Beach is perfect for families because the water is incredibly shallow and calm for hundreds of meters out. There are basic changing rooms and toilets available for a small fee. It can get very crowded on weekends with locals, so try visiting on a weekday morning for a more peaceful experience. Wear plenty of sunblock as there is very little natural shade on the sand.
