I read that Sri Lanka is waiving ETA fees for 40 markets including the Czech Republic. Is this currently available for a summer trip.

Yes, the fee waiver for 40 nations, including the Czech Republic, is active until October 31, 2026. While the fifty dollar processing charge is suspended for short stays of up to 30 days, you still must complete the Electronic Travel Authorization form online via the official portal before arrival. This is a great move to boost European arrivals this summer.
