The hike to Lovers Leap is universally considered an incredibly easy highly rewarding walk. It is absolutely not a dangerous technical climb. The pathway largely consists of a very wide deeply established dirt track cutting peacefully right through a stunning bright green tea estate.
It is a perfectly completely safe highly scenic excursion ideal for families and casual walkers wanting a brilliant quick nature escape directly from the Nuwara Eliya town center.
The incline is incredibly moderate taking an average person barely thirty minutes from the main road turnoff. Only the absolute final few meters near the viewing platform can become slightly muddy if it rained recently.
