The renewal process is designed to be incredibly straightforward to encourage long term stays. As long as you can continuously prove that you have met the 2000 USD monthly income requirement routed through official banking channels during your first year the renewal is almost guaranteed.

You simply submit the updated financial documents and bank statements through the Department of Immigration portal before your current visa expires. You do not need to physically leave the country to execute the renewal.
