South Coast hotels with safe beach access for families with young children?
I have a toddler and want a hotel with safe, easy beach access. Any recommendations?

Look for hotels in Unawatuna or parts of Bentota that have calmer beach sections and shallow entry. Some hotels have their own protected beach areas or are located on lagoons which are safer for young children. Always check recent family reviews for beach conditions and safety. Hotels with pools are often more practical for toddlers than direct ocean access. Some places have shallow reef areas that create calmer swimming zones. Ask specifically about beach safety and child-friendly features when booking. Staff at family-oriented hotels can usually advise on the safest swimming spots nearby.
