If your ETA has been pending for over a week it is highly likely the automated system flagged a minor discrepancy in your passport details or there is a glitch with the payment processing. Do not panic. You should immediately email the Department of Immigration using the contact details on the official portal with your reference number. If you arrive at the airport without an approved ETA the airline might deny you boarding. As a last resort if you are eligible you can simply apply and pay for a new Visa on Arrival when you land in Colombo but securing it beforehand is vastly superior.
