Still on the east at 10.50 - worth a Saturday van for one last Kumbal or stay in the heat advisory

We are still on the east. Not A-Bay swell versus 6.28 as a surf call. Not Jaffna hopping for Sunday Randoli. Saturday is one last Kumbal at 6.28, then we would have to turn around. Warm-weather advisory is Saturday daytime on this coast. Is one Kumbal worth the inland van, or is that a cooked Saturday for a night we already skipped four of.

5th Kumbal Saturday 6:28 PM is the last of the phase. Sunday 6:44 is first Randoli - the phase change. A Saturday-only hop from the east buys the last Kumbal and misses the start of Randoli unless you hold Sunday. Warm-weather advisory is Saturday daytime Eastern Province (and north / Monaragala / Polonnaruwa) - a hydration caution on the coast you are already on, plus a hot van into Kandy's 2-5pm shower column. Leaving the east at dawn can make 6:28. Leaving at noon is the cooked van.

One Kumbal is real. It is also a lot of road for one night. If you come, book the Saturday night in the app at listing price before you roll, not a 22:50 WhatsApp. No invented van fare.

We did the one-night hop another year. Worth it if you have never seen it. Stupid if you are already wrecked on the east. No invented room rate.
