Rams Right is incredibly hollow and powerful, but it breaks over a very shallow, unforgiving coral reef. If you are only an intermediate, I strongly advise against it. The swell is picking up right now in late April, making the drop incredibly steep. Stick to Lazy Left nearby until you are highly confident in fast takeoffs.

It is a spectacular wave to watch from the beach with a fresh coconut if you decide not to paddle out. The local guys rip it up every morning.

I left a lot of skin on that reef last year. If you do go out, wear a rash guard and absolutely wear reef booties. The sea urchins are no joke.
