One of the biggest perks of the Sri Lanka digital nomad visa is that your foreign earned income is not subject to local income tax, provided it is remitted through official channels.

Always consult with a tax professional regarding your home country residency rules, but the Sri Lankan government will not tax the 2000 USD minimum income you bring in.

You only pay taxes in your home country or wherever your business is registered. This makes Sri Lanka an incredibly attractive financial destination for remote workers.
