Thirty dollars for Anuradhapura - does that ticket even get us into Isurumuniya or do they sting us again

CCF site shows Anuradhapura 30 USD same as Polonnaruwa. Driver says Isurumuniya, the Bodhi, and Mihintale are extra. We only have one full day plus a late Mihintale. What does the sacred-city ticket actually cover so we do not buy the wrong paper at the museum.

The CCF sacred-city ticket is the big archaeological zone - Jetavana, Abhayagiri, Ruwanwelisaya area, museums on that list. It is not Isurumuniya, not the Bodhi precinct, not Mihintale. Buy CCF once (museum / e-ticket), keep the stub. Isurumuniya is a temple-run ticket at that gate. Do not let a tuk-tuk sell you a "combo" on the street.

We bought CCF at the museum, spent the morning on the northern monasteries, paid separately at Isurumuniya for the lovers carving. Fine. Passport at CCF.

One day: CCF circuit + Isurumuniya + sunset Mihintale. Do not add a spice garden.

Buying CCF at the museum and paying Isurumuniya at that gate. No street combo.
