Wanted notice says they may leave by air or sea - extra passport check at CMB today
This morning the 4:50 AM Newswire says the three wanted people may try to leave illegally by air or sea. Friend is landing CMB. Partner thinks every foreigner gets a second interview. I think that is a named manhunt, not a tourist-channel shutdown. Extra time at the desk, or ordinary Saturday immigration.

The notice names three people and asks the public for tips on 071-8591735. It is not a gazette that all ETAs are re-screened. Still: passport in hand, ETA already on eta.gov.lk, extra hour of patience. I cannot swear whether Saturday morning desks are slower because of the notice. They entered on tourist visas that expired. Your valid ETA is a different document.
If the friend clears, they come up rested. If they are stuck, they WhatsApp. You still stand 6:28 PM.
Named manhunt. Not a tourist-channel shutdown. We told the friend to carry the ETA PDF and not invent a panic.
