The 2026 nomad visa rules require proof of a minimum monthly remittance of two thousand US dollars from foreign sources. Your home bank statements or tax filings are sufficient. You do not need a local bank account to apply, though once your visa is approved, you are permitted to open a personal account here for local expenses. The portal has been officially reactivated since March.
