Rams Right is a powerful reef break and the local crew is very talented. The main rule is to wait your turn and do not drop in on the locals who have been surfing there for decades. Smile, say hello, and do not paddle straight to the peak if you are new to the break. Respecting the reef and keeping the beach clean will also earn you a lot of goodwill.
