Uncle in Colombo forwarded a "Kandy 10pm cut, Perahera load" text. Lights in this room are on. Generator was coughing at 9.30 and then the lane lamps came back. The earlier thread was will they cut during. This is a 10.20 rumour that the grid is about to die because the night ended. Do we fill bottles and phones or is uncle's chat a group that forwards everything.

No CEB Kandy 22:00 Perahera-load gazette showed up on Ada / Newswire / Newsfirst / Daily Mirror at 10:25. President this morning was El Niño essential goods, not a 10pm shedding board. Uncle's forward is a forward until you see a utility notice. Charge the phone anyway because you should. Do not dump the fridge.

If the lamps are on and the fan is on, sleep. If it dies, it dies - torch, do not go downstairs in the dark looking for a generator you do not own.

We got the same forward. Nothing cut. We still plugged in. Harmless. Do not stay up "to see it."
