Overnight the Friday advisory is still on every homepage. Eastern Province, Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Vavuniya, Mullaitivu, Monaragala, Polonnaruwa. Partner packed like Kandy dusk is a heat warning. I think 6:28 PM here is 25 degrees and cloudy. Do we ignore the advisory for tonight, or is Kandy secretly on it this morning.

The Friday advisory is daytime Saturday for those named districts. Kandy is not on the list. Foreca 6pm Kandy is 25 C / 0 mm / 42 percent. The heat line is not your kerb. I cannot swear Met put up a new body this morning - the homepage timed out on us.
Dusk on the stones feels cooler than an 89 percent room. A light layer is sense. A heat-warning costume is not.

TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
