In Mannar, the wind is relentless and the water is completely flat. A chest mount will just show your arms and the control bar. The absolute best perspective is a kite line mount. It gives a stable, top-down view of you carving the flats. Just make sure you use a secure tether; if it snaps off the lines, the Mannar currents will sweep it away to India.

Line mounts are great, but wrap a piece of high-vis orange tape around the GoPro. If it falls in the shallow sandbars, you can spot it easily.
