Visiting hours ended at 8 - can we still knock for a relic blessing at 9.35
9.35 at the gate end. FAQ said 8.00 close. Someone in the group thinks Perahera night means they keep a side door for foreigners. We have the LKR 3,000 in our head for tomorrow. Is a 9.35 knock a respectful try or a policeman conversation.

Open 5.30am-8.00pm. Evening theva 6.30-8.00. There is no published foreigner side door at 9.35. Tickets are machine-issued during open hours (LKR 3,000 other countries / 2,500 SAARC+Thailand+Myanmar). Come at 5.30 for the early theva or 9.30 for the middle morning one. Not now.
A knock at 9.35 is how you meet a bored policeman. Walk away. Saturday morning is the hall. Saturday evening is the street again at 6.28.
Special-needs assistance exists via 0812234226 during operations, not as a 9.35 entry hack.
